Overview

This policy explains what information VivoSeq collects and how we use it. We collect the minimum needed to run the Service and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

  • Account information — when you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) stores your name and email address.
  • Usage data — basic, aggregate analytics about how the Service is used (e.g., pages viewed), used to improve the product.
  • Data corrections you submit — if you report a data issue, we store your submission and email to process it.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and the Service is not directed to children under 13.

How we use information

To authenticate you, operate and secure the Service, respond to your requests and data corrections, and improve features. We do not use your data for advertising.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Service providers

We share limited data with infrastructure providers strictly to run the Service: Clerk (authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Neon (database). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information at any time by emailing us. We retain account data while your account is active and remove it on request.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Questions or requests: hello@vivoseq.com.
