Xiaflex is used to break down and dissolve excess collagen buildup in conditions like Dupuytren's contracture (a hand deformity where fingers curl inward) and Peyronie's disease (curved penis caused by scar tissue). The enzyme works by digesting the problematic scar tissue to improve function and appearance.[1] Xiaflex is currently being investigated across 17 indications[3], with its most advanced program in Phase 3.[1]
Xiaflex is one of 181 small molecule programs targeting Plantar Fasciitis. It is currently in Phase 3.
