Sotorasib is used to treat a specific type of lung cancer (non-small cell lung cancer) in patients whose cancer cells have a particular genetic mutation called KRAS G12C. It works by blocking the abnormal protein that causes these cancer cells to grow.[2] Lumakras is currently approved and in use across 15 indications[4].[1]
