This medication is used to treat certain types of multiple myeloma (bone marrow cancer) that has returned or stopped responding to at least four previous treatments. It works by taking immune cells from the patient's own blood and modifying them to recognize and attack cancer cells.[1] Abecma is currently being investigated across 2 indications[3], with its most advanced program in Phase 2.[1]
