Trastuzumab is used to treat certain types of breast cancer and stomach cancer that have a specific protein called HER2 on their surface. It works by targeting and attacking cancer cells that have this protein, helping to slow or stop their growth.[2] Herceptin is currently approved and in use across 75 indications[4].[1]
