Dexrazoxane is used to protect the heart from damage caused by certain chemotherapy drugs (called anthracyclines) that are used to treat cancer, and to treat iron overload in the body.[1] Zinecard is currently being investigated across 5 indications[3], with its most advanced program in Phase 3.[1]
