Melphalan is a chemotherapy drug used to treat certain blood cancers, including multiple myeloma (cancer of blood cells in the bone marrow) and some types of lymphoma. It works by damaging cancer cell DNA to stop them from growing.[2] Alkeran is currently approved and in use across 84 indications[4].[1]
