Romiplostim is used to treat low platelet counts (blood cells that help with clotting) in patients with immune thrombocytopenia, a condition where the immune system destroys platelets and increases bleeding risk.[1] Nplate is currently being investigated across 18 indications[3], with its most advanced program in Phase 3.[1]
