Olaparib is used to treat certain types of cancer, particularly ovarian and breast cancers that have a specific genetic mutation (BRCA mutation). It works by stopping cancer cells from repairing their DNA, causing them to die.[2] Lynparza is currently approved and in use across 94 indications[4].[1]
