Norepinephrine is used to treat severe low blood pressure, typically in hospital settings when other treatments haven't worked. It works by narrowing blood vessels and strengthening the heart's contractions to increase blood pressure.[1] Levophed is currently being investigated across 20 indications[3], with its most advanced program in Phase 3.[1]
